Second in a series of 12 bilingual (English/Chinese) guided discovery activities for first-year university physics (native Chinese speakers).
GD-2 Newtonian Dynamics guides students as they observe, graph, and then inductively develop equations to describe the forces involved in 1D and 2D motion.
During each activity, students learn to associate the English terms with the Chinese equivalents. Guided discovery worksheets (pdf) linked via HTML webpages to necessary simulations are also viewable at http://physics.aiyouliliang.com. Answer sheets are available to teachers from the author.
