| Description | This activity allows students to experiment with circuits involing light bulbs and batteries in order to draw conclusions about voltage and current in series and parallel circuits by looking at the brightness of the bulbs. The attached concept test should be administered prior to and after the activity. Objectives: 1. Students will be able to differentiate between series and parallel circuits. 2. Students will be able to identify and explain applications for using series and parallel circuits. 3. Students will be able to describe the effect of different battery connections in a circuit. |
