Title It’s All in the Shape: II. Discovering the Behavior of Polar Molecules
Description This activity allows students to discover the behavior of lone pair electrons, using actual measured bond angles, and how they are placed on the structure depending on the geometry. This leads to the distortion of the ideal geometry. Molecular polarity is then determined and the dipole moment is discussed.
