Tutki molekyylien muotoja rakentamalla molekyylejä 3-ulotteisena! Miten molekyylin muoto muuttuu eri määrillä sidoksia ja elektronipareja? Selvitä tämä lisäämällä yksin-, kaksin- tai kolminkertaisia sidoksia ja yksinäisiä elektronipareja keskusatomiin. Tulossa pian: Todellisten molekyylien välilehti, jossa voit verrata VSEPR-mallia todellisiin molekyyleihin!

Esimerkkejä oppimistavoitteista

  • Havaitse, että molekyylin geometria aiheutuu elektroniryhmien välisistä poistovoimista.
  • Tunnista ero elektronin ja molekyylin geometrian välillä.
  • Nimeä molekyyli- ja elektronigeometriat molekyyleille, joissa on korkeintaan kuusi elektroniryhmää keskusatomin ympärillä.
