Description

Miksi jotkin kappaleet, kuten puu, kelluvat vedessä? Riippuuko se kappaleen koosta? Luo oma kappale ja tutki massan ja tilavuuden vaikutusta tiheyteen. Löydätkö riippuvuussuhteen? Käytä vaakaa kappaleen massan mittaamiseen ja pidä kappaletta veden alla sen tilavuuden mittaamiseksi. Tunnistatko kaikki tuntemattomat kappaleet?

Esimerkkejä oppimistavoitteista

  • Kuvaile miten tiheyden käsite liittyy kappaleen massaan ja tilavuuteen.
  • Selitä, miten samanmassaisilla kappaleilla voi olla eri tilavuus ja miten samantilavuuksisilla kappaleilla voi olla eri massa.
  • Selitä, miksi kappaleen massan tai tilavuuden muuttaminen ei vaikuta sen tiheyteen (eli ymmärrä tiheys intensiivisenä ominaisuutena).
  • Mittaa kappaleen tilavuus tarkkailemalla sen syrjäyttämän nesteen tilavuutta.
  • Tunnista tuntematon materiaali laskemalla sen tiheys ja vertaamalla sitä tunnettujen tiheyksien taulukkoon.
